Wow, like really, wow. I haven't updated this journal in a long time. Of course, I'm not as active on this site as I used to be, but November was a long time ago.

So, worst thing ever: my computer had a logic board failure and when I took it into the apple store to get it fixed, the genius guy neglected to tell me that shipping out the computer for repairs almost always results in data erasures. So please, imagine how angry I was when I got my computer back and everything I had ever put on it was gone. I had thousands of pictures. Gone. School work that I still needed to turn in so that I could get credit for classes and therefore GRADUATE. Gone. All my art and all my stories. Gone. And honestly, the thing I'm most stressed out about was a family cookbook that I was making for my dad and his sisters. I've been slaving over that thing since November, trying to find old recipes from things they ate when they were kids and hunting down old pictures of their parents and stuff.

I almost demanded that the genius guy who took my computer be fired, since it's apple's policy to make sure that customers understand that when sending the computer away, it's wise to back up all information. And if I had had any sway at that store, I would have seen it through.

I managed to get some of the data recovered, but nothing that I really need. All of the stories that came back were old ones that I was thinking about deleting anyway. None of my new art, which I think, has been getting better in terms of how I use photoshop, came back. And I managed to get back work from classes that I had put in my trash and deleted a year ago, but God forbid I could get the stuff I still need to turn in.

URG! I swear, warning to everyone. Go out and buy an external hard drive and frequently backup your information. Those things can be a little pricey, but I'd buy ten of them to not have gone through this mess.

The Twilight movie sucked. FOR SHAME. To think, I could have been watching Harry Potter. And now, I have to wait until July to regain faith in humanity.

OMFG! So, I had the best day--aka 14 hours--of my life on Tuesday, just because of the sheer ridiculousness of it all. Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen aka Cedric Diggory aka Man I Want to Molest came to the Hot Topic at the Dallas Galleria to sign autographs to promote Twilight. So, I've only recently gotten into Twilight, and I think it's great as long as you don't think about the plot too much (however, certain things like werewolf/baby love and demon spawn hybrids are NOT OK). Anyways, so, my friend's mom works for the company that owns the Galleria, and her good friend is the actual mall owner. So, normal people had to line up midnight the night before, and then wait for 6 hour before the tickets to see him went on sale.

Guess who didn't have to wait in any lines and was able to show up just 30 minutes before the event began. My friend and I were the first people standing in line to go into the store. I was the first person who caught a glimpse of him. And then, they let the first two people in line (aka us) into the store with him before the camera crew followed, and then they let in the other people.

OMG So amazing. He was delightfully British, and talked to us for a minute. And his hair was just the right amount of crazy (or magic, whatever you want to call what it is that his hair does). After we left the store, we jumped and screamed like 12 year old fan girls. AWESOME

Yeah, the best part of the story is that we drove a total of 6.5 hours, didn't stay in Dallas overnight, and missed classes and exams to attend this event. So worth every second.

I really can't wait for this movie to come out. I didn't think I would be able to get this excited over something after the last Harry Potter book, and it honestly is a relief that I can still act immature about a book/movie series. Of course, SM is no JKR because she apparently hasn't heard of these cool things called plots or character development.

Ugh. So bored with self and school. My attention to this site has been pretty lacking lately. Meh. My vocabulary skills have improved greatly since I was last here. I really have nothing to say but felt like I should update a thing or two around here. My last few posts have been pretty random, but hooray for variety and junk.

PS, I recently discovered the ABC Family show Greek. GO AND WATCH IT NOW MONDAYS AT 7 PM CENTRAL. it is awesome in ways that man has not yet formulated words to describe.

Ok, so I've been loving the new run of South Park episodes. Tonights gave me quite a giggle. Silly Wendy, you say you voted Cartman last, but there you went and used his kick the girl in the balls strategy. Awesome. Clyde was great.

So what with the new episodes, I've found myself in love with South Park again. In fact, instead of getting to work on my Harry Potter fanfic like I should, I've gone and started up a new Cartman/Wendy fic. I don't know when I'll post it, probably later once it has more bulk. Also, hooray for those of you who watched me solely based on my South Park stuff, I'm planning to do more art for that fandom. So yay!

Stephen Colbert should totally be president.
